Packing

Packing isn’t always required; it’s set aside for fragile items like stone (Marble & Granite), glass, hand-made goods (soft & hard wood carpentry) and antique goods.

Add 1 hour per item — this covers packing.

Larger Vehicle

For items over 2 m, and up to 4 m in length.

Load space approx. 2.1 m wide and 2.5 m high (Transit Luton).

When opting for the larger vehicle, the quote won't be exact, our Luton is far less fuel efficient @ 28.4 MPG, apposed to 38MPG, so expect a small increase in the actual cost.

We'll advise of the actual cost, prior to your acceptance - it's not normally that much more - e.g. a recent trip to Portsmouth, the cost was +£20.

Heavy Items

Could you lift the item easily on your own, without having to lower it to the ground before reaching the ideal placement? What if it rains, or the access is difficult or distant?

Drivers Mate

Paid at £12.83 / hour - £120 because the average amount of time spent on a job is 10 hours. For shorter distances and a normal 1 vehicle payload the amount will be less.

The drivers mate work includes loading, unloading and moving items to the agreed localation.
